They started out knowing that to progress far in the competition they have to beat teams like Trinidad and Guyana, who have been the frontrunners in the CPL for some time, so it is massive to come to Trinidad and take two points. On the decision to bowl first despite the possibility of rain, he says they were not preparing for rain. They thought the wicket was a good one, and in Trinidad you get a bit of dew and it is always better to chase, and that is what made their decision, not rain. On Vitel's triple-wicket maiden and his decision to give the youngster opportunities, he says that as a young team they decided at the start to give guys opportunities. It is not a case of them playing one game, bowling one or two bad overs and then getting dropped. At the start of his own career as a youngster, he was given the opportunity, so as captain he tries his best to give these youngsters opportunities as well. On the decision to promote Maaz Sadaqat up the order, he says it is just a case of the makeup of the Trinidadian bowlers. It is the first time they have found themselves with so many left-handers at the top, so they are trying to mix and match with a left-hand right-hand combination and see how well it goes, trying to keep Akeal Hosein out of the game and bring Sunil Narine early to bowl to those left-handers. On the importance of the two points at this stage, he says it is massive. They were up for the fight today, and unfortunately things like this happen. On taking positives into the clash against Guyana, he says as a group they know what they have to do, and today they showed they can fight, and that is what they have to do for the next four games. They need to keep fighting, stay in it, continue to believe they will win games, maybe win a couple and see where it goes from there. This is momentum as well for them, and hopefully on Monday they can be on the right side. On Kieron Pollard's injury, he says he is not sure, he looks fine and hopefully he will be fine for Monday.

POTM - Vitel Lawes wins the award for his spell of 3 for 29 after 4 overs. Vitel Lawes says it has been a learning process in his first CPL season. He goes into every game looking to take something from it into the next one, and he has to learn to adapt to different conditions and the atmosphere, so it has been a pretty good learning process so far for him. On his triple-wicket maiden, he says the over before was pretty poor, and at the halfway stage the captain had told him he had one more over for him, and he told himself if he gets that over he wants the next one. So he wanted to bowl that over and convince him to give him another. On winning the Player of the Match award, he says it means a lot, against a team like TKR, there is no better team to get the Player of the Match award against.
