  • చివరకి Over 20
Over 20. 11 runs. Bowler: Shaheen Afridi. Australia: 136/8 (rr 6.80)
  • 19.6

Shaheen Afridi to Andrew Tye. Length ball, middle stump on the front foot driving, to deep mid wicket for 2 runs, run save by Zaman, fielded by Malik.

Pakistan have gone 2-0 up in their T20I series against Australia with one match remaining after a tense 11 run victory in Dubai. Sarfraz Ahmed followed a very similar game plan to Wednesday night after winning the toss and electing to bat. Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez formed another classy partnership but the men in green never really got away from the Aussies, struggling to find the fence through the middle overs. Faheem Ashraf provided some late fireworks to boost the total, before opening the bowling in partnership with Imad Wasim to great effect. The moment of the night came when Fakhar Zaman pulled off an audacious run out, nailing the stumps direct with a no-look backhanded-flick. Aaron Finch's side meandered along at a sluggish rate until Glenn Maxwell went beserk to give them a slim chance. However, with 23 required from the final over Pakistan were always favourites and young Shaheen Afridi held his composure to seal the win. The series concludes on Sunday evening with Australia looking for a consolation victory.

    నాథన్ కౌల్టర్-నైల్ c Asif Ali b Shaheen Afridi 27 (17)

OUT! Caught. Shaheen Afridi to Nathan Coulter-Nile. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep cover, by Ali. Straight to the man in the deep, Coulter-Nile can't be the hero for Australia. He got a decent piece of it but the man was positioned perfectly to gobble it up.

  • 19.4

Shaheen Afridi to Nathan Coulter-Nile. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, in the air under control to third man for 2 runs, fielded by Hafeez.

OUT! Caught. Shaheen Afridi to Glenn Maxwell. Off cutter length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to mid on, by Malik. Finally Pakistan manage to catch Maxwell and with it they have this match in the bag. The right-hander had no choice but to try and smash this to the boundary but it went straight up. Malik had a long time to think about it but the veteran held his nerve to spark wild celebrations.

In the slot and given the treatment, Maxwell holds the pose for good measure. Outstanding ball striking by the Victorian, he is single-handedly keeping the Aussies in this series.

  • 16.3

Hasan Ali to Glenn Maxwell. Slower ball short, outside off stump backing away cutting, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep cover for 2 runs, dropped catch by Hafeez. Maxwell has been put down again, will Pakistan end up regretting this sloppy fielding? Hafeez the guilty party, this time it was a much easier chance. He had time to set himself but inexplicably can't hold on.
