  • 19.6

FOUR! Jasprit Bumrah to Mandeep Singh. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot Late Cut, well timed past deep backward point for 4 runs.

Kings XI Punjab have amassed 197/4 on the back of a sublime century from KL Rahul and a typically brutal fifty from Chris Gayle. At one stage it seemed as though they would surge past the 200 mark but Rahul Chahar pulled things back for the hosts with a parsimonious spell of legspin in the middle overs. It's going to be a tough score to defend however because conditions are ideal for batting. Mumbai are without Rohit Sharma, that could prove to be decisive in the chase.

Ankit Rajpoot to Alzarri Joseph. Full toss, to leg on the front foot driving, to long on for 2 runs.

What a match we have seen in Mumbai tonight. It looked like the hosts were dead and buried before Kieron Pollard unleashed one of the most devastating assaults the IPL has ever seen. Ten huge sixes came from his massive chunk of willow, before Alzarri Joseph held his nerve to calmly stroke two from the final ball for victory. Kings XI will be gutted, they really should have seen out this match after a sensational KL Rahul century. Their bowling crumbled at the death in the face of some extraordinary striking. Phew, take a breath and then get ready for more IPL mayhem tomorrow.
