After electing to bowl first, Antigua & Barbuda Falcons skipper Moeen Ali could not have asked for a more clinical performance from his unit. GAW's innings never found any momentum, undone by collapsing partnerships and a relentless, suffocating bowling display that has put the Falcons firmly in the driver's seat.

Falcons Fly into the Final - The Antigua & Barbuda Falcons made absolutely no fuss about booking their place in the grand final, riding on the back of a truly sensational, spin-packed bowling display that completely dismantled their opponents. While the Falcons celebrate their well-earned spot in the ultimate title decider, the tournament is far from over for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. They will get one more shot at redemption in Qualifier 2, where they are locked in to face Jamaica on 18th September at 11 pm GMT. Antigua & Barbuda Falcons captain - Moeen Ali says he likes it, but they still have one big game to go and he is very happy that they have made it to the final with that sort of performance and it would be amazing to win the final, but he was a bit apprehensive as they had not played for seven or eight days and you are not sure exactly what you are going to get from the guys, but they were amazing tonight. He says he thought the bowlers, Alzarri Joseph and Fabian up top, did an amazing job on what they felt was actually a good wicket, and then the spinners in the middle just ripped through them and did an amazing job. On the collapse after the Powerplay, Moeen Ali says there was a bit of spin but he thinks it was just being a bit brave with the field, sometimes having a midwicket and making them try not to just give them easy singles, and once he thinks they did that a little bit with Shadab Khan and Sufyan Moqim they got wickets and he thinks they just got a bit surprised with the way they bowled. He says seven were googlies and it was just the line they bowled that was amazing and came out the hand really well, but he thought there was a bit of poor batting in between, he has to say, but he does feel that it was a great performance by their bowlers.

Guyana Amazon Warriors captain - Imran Tahir, on the collapse, says this is not the first time and they do not have time to look into it and they just have to come back strongly and that is what he can ask from the boys. On what went wrong, he says it is the patience, as the opposition will not dish it out for you and if the pitch is playing different they have to adjust, noting that they are playing all over the world and there is no excuse and he takes the blame on behalf of the team and they should be more responsible. On the second chance for the finals, he says they deserve to be here as they played really well in the whole competition and it is in the past, and they want to achieve what they want to achieve, to win the CPL, and he does not think they are going to justify what they did today and they need to be better and need to come back stronger tomorrow. On Shepherd batting at 10, he says he never thought he was going to go before him and he tried to kill some overs of spin but unfortunately he also played a bad shot, and they wanted him to go out and explore himself and this is not something they want to do with him and they need to be more responsible. On the fans, he says it is just a promise that they will not let them down tomorrow and they have to put a very big performance for them tomorrow night.

POTM - Shadab Khan wins the award for his spell of 4 for 16, where he picked up a hat-trick as well. Shadab Khan says he is so happy, as a hat-trick is that type of milestone that you want in your career. On the key to success, he says when you are in the right rhythm, things happen and he hit the deck in good areas and kept it simple, noting that cricket is very hard if you try to complicate things and they practised and prepared very well and throughout the tournament, the rhythm has been good. He adds that role clarity is very important, as he knows what his role is and makes his mindset clear as well.

Falcons' Pakistan spin twins dismantled GAW - In a staggering batting collapse, the Guyana Amazon Warriors were blown away for a paltry 76 in just 15 overs after Antigua & Barbuda Falcons skipper Moeen Ali asked them to bat first. Despite a steady opening start from Glenn Phillips and Mavendra Dindyal, Dindyal's dismissal in the 5th over triggered a catastrophic collapse that saw the GAW side go from 40 for 1 to 76 all out. The absolute architects of the destruction were the Falcons' Pakistani spin prodigies, Shadab Khan and Sufyan Moqim, who picked up four wickets apiece. Shadab even claimed a sensational hat-trick by removing Shimron Hetmyer, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Quentin Sampson off successive deliveries. Shamar Springer and Joshua James chipped in with a wicket each to cap off a flawless, dominant bowling display.
