  • 49.6

Jasprit Bumrah to Mitchell Santner. Length ball, down leg side on the front foot Slog, hit pad to short third man for 1 run, fielded by Chahal. So New Zealand manage to get up to 239 from their 50 overs. It does seem below par but it's not been the easiest wicket to bat on and I'm sure the Kiwis will scrap with all their might to make life as difficult as possible for India. They will need early wickets and they have to get the likes of Rohit and Kohli early on.

  • 49.5

Jasprit Bumrah to Mitchell Santner. Half volley, down leg side backing away driving, to mid off for 2 runs, fielded by Rahul.

    భువనేశ్వర్ కుమార్ b Lockie Ferguson 0 (1)

OUT! Caught. Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Matt Henry. Slower length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Kohli. A big swing from Henry but he's hitting towards the longer side of the ground and Kohli takes a comfortable catch in the deep. Bhuvi picks up a third wicket. We've seen plenty of slower deliveries from India this morning.

  • 48.5

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Mitchell Santner. Slower ball short, down leg side on the back foot pulling, to deep mid wicket for 1 run, fielded by Jadeja.

  • 48.4

FOUR! Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Mitchell Santner. Off cutter back of a length, middle stump on the back foot cutting, well timed past deep cover for 4 runs. Width and clubbed off the back foot well in front of square and it beats the point sweeper to the boundary, four vital runs to New Zealand.

  • 48.3

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Matt Henry. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, to deep cover for 1 run, fielded by Jadeja.

  • 48.2

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Mitchell Santner. Slower ball short, down leg side on the back foot pushing, to point for 1 run, fielded by Chahal.

  • 48.1

OUT! Caught. Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Tom Latham. Length ball, middle stump on the front foot Slog, in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Jadeja. That's length and Latham makes a decent connection but it's too close to that man Jadaja again in the deep. He was in off the rope to save two and had to track back and took the catch above his head. Two good pieces of fielding in two balls have halted New Zealand's progress this morning.

OUT! Run Out. Jasprit Bumrah to Ross Taylor. Slower length ball, outside off stump on the front foot working, to square leg for 1 run, direct hit by Jadeja. What a brilliant piece of fielding from Jadeja. New Zealand have picked up plenty of doubles this morning with all the men on the legside back on the boundary. They come back for the second again but Jadeja picks up and with just over one stump to aim at from about 50 yards away he hits the stumps with Ross Taylor just short. It had to be a direct hit and it was, outstanding work.

  • 47.5

Jasprit Bumrah to Tom Latham. Slower length ball, down leg side on the front foot flick, to deep square leg for 1 run, fielded by Sharma.

  • 47.4

  • 46.2

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ross Taylor. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, to deep point for 1 run, fielded by Karthik.

  • 46.1

Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ross Taylor. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, to extra cover for 2 runs, mis-fielded by Chahal. Well it's been drizzling for a while but now the umpires have had a chat and they're heading off the field, perhaps influenced slightly by Chahal's little mis-hap. The surface does look a bit greasy and the ground staff are running on quickly as if they expect it's about to get heavier. Looking at the radar there is more rain headed this way. There is a reserve day in place for this game but all the usual wet weather procedures apply to try and get a result today. It's still raining here and I'm afraid to say it doesn't look like it's about to stop just yet. Thankfully at the moment it's not raining too hard so the ground conditions are at least still reasonable. Right now the rain is coming down heavier and the sky is really rather dark. Looking at the radar there is still a fair bit of rain to come so things don't look too good here at the moment. Remember there is a reserve day should we not be able to get any more play in today. Mixed news from Old Trafford. The skies are definitely clearer but there is still some rain in the air and more drizzle heading our way by the looks of things. We need to the rain to stop before we can think about a potential restart time. Well sadly the rain has won out. Just as it looked like we might get some more cricket this evening there is more drizzle and the covers are back on. So, we will be back again tomorrow at 10:30am local time and the game will resume from the position we are in now. We'll have to wait one more day to find out who will take the first spot in the World Cup final.

    యుజువేంద్ర చాహల్ c Tom Latham b Jimmy Neesham 5 (5)

OUT! Caught. Jimmy Neesham to Yuzvendra Chahal. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Latham. That's out, there's a nick and Chahal is gone. He's reviewed but Latham is confident. There's a big spike on UltraEdge and India are out of the World Cup. What a performance from New Zealand. That partnership yesterday between Taylor and Williamson seems a long time ago now and despite it feeling too slow at the time it's proved crucial. Matt Henry is man of the match and why not after that spell with the new ball. He and Boult ripped the heart out of India's top order and reduced them to 5-3. Jadeja was brilliant throughout for India but he couldn't quite get them over the line at the end, he was simply left with too much to do. So it's taken two days but New Zealand make it to the World Cup final for the second time in a row. Will this year see a repeat of the 2015 final or can England beat Australia and keep their dreams of winning on home soil alive.

  • 49.2

Jimmy Neesham to Yuzvendra Chahal. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, outside edge in the air uncontrolled to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Latham.

  • 49.1

FOUR! Jimmy Neesham to Yuzvendra Chahal. Slower length ball, down leg side on the front foot flick, past fine leg for 4 runs. That's a terrible ball and it's clipped away for four by Chahal. Five more of those and India win.

    భువనేశ్వర్ కుమార్ b Lockie Ferguson 0 (1)

OUT! Bowled. Lockie Ferguson to Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Slower length ball, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, missed to. Wonderful slower ball from Ferguson and it's too good for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. India lose another wicket and New Zealand are all but over the line here now.

  • 48.5

Lockie Ferguson to Yuzvendra Chahal. Length ball, off stump on the front foot flick, to backward square leg for 1 run, fielded by Guptill.

  • 48.4

Lockie Ferguson to Yuzvendra Chahal. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, mis-timed to extra cover for no runs, fielded by Williamson.

MS ధోని Run Out Martin Guptill 50 (72)

OUT! Run Out. Lockie Ferguson to MS Dhoni. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot flick, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to backward square leg for 1 run, direct hit by Guptill. Martin Guptill what a throw. He's had a torrid World Cup but that moment of brilliance might have sealed a spot in the final for New Zealand. It's very close, there's Dhoni's bat, but he's short. Guptill pulls off a similar effort to Jadeja's this morning and hits one stump from well outside the circle. Dhoni is gone, he's reached 50 but it took him 72 balls and it's not enough for India.

  • 48.2

Lockie Ferguson to MS Dhoni. Slower length ball, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, to silly mid on for no runs, fielded by Ferguson.

  • 48.1

SIX! Lockie Ferguson to MS Dhoni. Short, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, in the air under control over deep point for 6 runs. Hit up and over by Dhoni, and it's over the man back on the boundary and it's six, what a shot. Game on here in Manchester.

    రవీంద్ర జడేజా c Kane Williamson b Trent Boult 77 (59)

OUT! Caught. Trent Boult to Ravindra Jadeja. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to cover, by Williamson. That's gone straight up, a big swing from Jadeja and Williamson takes the catch. Massive moment for New Zealand. They brought Boult back to try and take a wicket and he's done just that. The rate was climbing, lots of slower balls from New Zealand and India were struggling to find the boundary. Has Dhoni batted India out of another game? The pressure is all on him now.

SIX! Lockie Ferguson to Ravindra Jadeja. Slower length ball, down leg side backing away driving, well timed in the air under control over long off for 6 runs. Wow, what a cricket shot from Jadeja. He picked the slower ball early and he's managed to power the ball over mid-off and over the boundary too.
